Bio

  • Dr. Lynch was elected as the 2015/2016 North East District Commander, where she has the over sight of Nine Chapters in the Northeast District. First Woman to hold that position.
  • Dr. Lynch was Lead-chair for the DAV National Commander‘s 2016 Testimonial Dinner.
  • Dr. Lynch was appointed as the 2016 National Disabled American Veteran Convention Chairperson at the 2016 DAV National Convention. (1st woman to be selected as chair in 95 years).
  • Dr. Lynch was very Instrumental in 2016 in the  renaming of part of Hwy 285 name change to Disabled American Veterans Highway.

In 2015 the DeKalb County Veterans Advisory Board, recognized Dr. Lynch as one of 4 women Honored as with the Extraordinary Women Award, for service to Veterans and their families in the Community and Bridging the Gap with the VA in Religion and Veteran Services.

Dr. Lynch has served in the last five years as Commander of DAV Chapter91, Decatur Georgia. She has served as the Sr. vice Commander, 1st junior vice Commander, Adjutant and Committee chair for numerous projects. 

Dr. Lynch In October 2014, was awarded the “Nephew Tommy Steve Harvey Morning Show” Miles of Giving Award. 

Dr. Lynch was recognized for her Humanitarian Contribution and Service and awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree, from the Christian Life Center School of Covington, In Covington Georgia.  She is well accomplished with numerous awards.

Dr. Lynch is a native of Alexandria Virginia and the wife of SSG(Ret) Anthony Lynch, the mother of Latonya, Katrina, Chantel and Jermaine, and the grandmother of Zaneishia, Ishmael, Jakia, Amorie, Aston and Jermaine Jr., She is the niece of the late Mr. Eugene Williams, Negro League Baseball living legend, who at one time worked with her in the community.
