Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: August 12, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and participation in programs, courses, applications, diplomas, certificates, and related services offered by TM Lynch Honorary Doctorate Program & Global International Alliance (GIA) Advocate University (“GIA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By submitting an application, enrolling in a program, making a payment, or using TML & GIA services, the applicant or student (“you”) agrees to these Terms.

Applications and Enrollment

  • Applicants must provide complete, accurate, and current information on all application and enrollment materials.
  • Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance, enrollment, a diploma, or completion of a program.
  • TML & GIA may request additional information or documentation before approving an application.
  • TML & GIA reserves the right to deny, suspend, or cancel enrollment when an applicant provides false, incomplete, misleading, or fraudulent information, or otherwise fails to follow these Terms.

Referral Credit

  • During completion of the application, each applicant must select or identify the person who referred them to TML & GIA.
  • The referral information submitted by the applicant will determine which Chaplain receives referral credit.
  • Applicants are responsible for selecting the correct referring Chaplain before submitting the application.
  • TML & GIA will rely on the referral information provided in the completed application.
  • No referral credit will be given for applicants who come directly to TML & GIA through the internet, online search, website visit, social media, or other direct online source without a qualifying referral identified on the application.
  • Referral credit may not be changed after the application has been submitted unless TML & GIA determines, in its sole discretion, that a clerical or administrative error occurred.

Diploma Name Confirmation

  • Applicants must confirm the correct and exact name they want displayed on their diploma in the designated area of the application.
  • The name entered and confirmed by the applicant will be used for diploma preparation.
  • Applicants are responsible for reviewing spelling, punctuation, capitalization, middle names or initials, suffixes, and all other details before submitting the application.
  • TML & GIA is not responsible for errors resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or unconfirmed name information supplied by the applicant.
  • Requests to revise a diploma after it has been issued may be subject to an additional $50 replacement, printing, and/or processing fee.

Refund Policy

  • A refund may be requested within 30 calendar days of the applicable payment date.
  • All approved refunds requested within 30 days are subject to a $150 processing fee.
  • The processing fee will be deducted from the amount otherwise eligible for refund.
  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing to TML Honorary Doctorate Program through email submission.
  • Requests received after 30 calendar days are not eligible for a refund, except where required by applicable law.
  • Any materials, credentials, diplomas, certificates, access to completed services, or other benefits already issued or used may affect refund eligibility or the refundable amount.
  • Processing timelines for approved refunds may vary depending on the original payment method and financial institution.

Conduct and Program Participation

  • Applicants and students are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and honestly in all interactions with TML & GIA, its Chaplains, staff, instructors, representatives, and other students.
  • TML & GIA may suspend or terminate participation for misconduct, harassment, dishonesty, misuse of TML & GIA materials, failure to meet program requirements, or violation of these Terms. A suspension or termination for cause does not automatically create a right to a refund.

Changes to Terms

TML & GIA may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will become effective when posted on the TML & GIA website or otherwise provided to applicants and students. Continued participation in TML & GIA programs after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
